Allen BACCUS, JR.

Allen James Baccus Jr. departed this life unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 24th, 2015, at Miami Valley Hospital after a short illness. Allen was born August 29th, 1986, in Dayton, Ohio, 1 of 2 children of LeTricia Baccus and Allen J. Baccus Sr.

Allen was a loving Son, a devoted Christian, Father, Husband and Family Man. Allen was a 2004 graduate of Meadowdale High School and an undergraduate student at Sinclair College. He enjoyed fishing, music, and sports, especially football. He was a coach and played Semi Pro Football for the Dayton Drive Team. Allen was also a coach for the Ohio Buckeye Pee Wee Team. Allen was a mentor to many young people and a volunteer in the community. He was a self-esteem advocate and fought against bullying and abuse.

Allen was employed at Infocision Call Center and because of his gentle easy going nature made many lasting friendships throughout his life.

Allen was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Eva and James W. Shaw, Sr., and paternal grandparents Rebi N. Baccus and Allen C. Baccus.

Allen leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife, Amelia Wilson Baccus; son, Mi'kyal "Nick"; parents, LeTricia Baccus and Allen Baccus Sr.; brothers, Maurice Baccus and Jermaine Maddox; aunts, Khadija Ali, Shaheeda Saleem, LeRecia Turner, Yvonne Earnest, Rochelle Coleman and Sena Baccus; uncles, Jerome Bruce Arnold, Paul A. Arnold, James W. Shaw Jr., Willie Shepard and Darryl Baccus; cousins, Brandan & Lauren Arnold, Domonic, Shamika, Tasha Arnold, Mujaji Saleem, Shea Atwood, Jovan L. Shaw, Aisha R.
