Angelaca PLEASANT Angelaca "Meme" Marie Pleasant was born on April 10, 1991 in Toledo, Ohio. At the tender age of twelve months old, along with her older sister, Michelle, Meme became the foster daughter of then Dayton Public School Teacher, Betty C. Pleasant of Dayton, Ohio. Both girls received much love and care from their foster mother and became adoptive daughters two years later in 1994 when Angelaca was three years old. That same year, Angelaca and Michelle were dedicated to the Lord at Tabernacle Baptist Church. Angelaca was preceded in death by her sister, Michelle Pleasant, in January 2005. Meme resided in Dayton all of her life and was a student in the Dayton Public School System. She completed course work as a home health care aide and received her certification in 2010. She has always had a joy and love for helping others and always wanted to do some type of work in the health care field. Meme's last place of employment was with Proctor and Gamble, which she enjoyed immensely. Angelaca was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and was baptized at the early age of six. Although her walk with the Lord has been tumultuous with many ups and downs since then, she has always loved the Lord and her family and when she would go through her struggles, she always knew where to turn. She leaves to cherish precious memories and to celebrate
her short-live life: her adoptive mother, Mrs. Betty Pleasant-Williams
and Betty's husband, Mr. Donald Williams, whom Meme thought of like
a father, as well as, her older sister, Sonia Lott, who is Betty's
biological daughter. She also leaves behind her cousins, Kara Lovejoy
and LaShae Gordon, whom she considered her sisters. Also left to
mourn her loss are her four children, Tyler Jr., Zandrea, Empress,
and Emperor, her fiancé Tyler Blackman, Sr., and close family
friend Tori Patrick. Angelaca also has a host of nieces, nephews,
cousins and close family friends who are in mourning as well. Her
biological family includes her biological mother, Shyla Earley and
husband, Robert Sr., her biological father, Paul Jacko, Sr., and
her siblings Eric Letts, Jr., Don'ye Letts, Dea'Monte Earley, Lee'Ann
Earley, Robert Earley, Jr., Jasmine Earley, Lillie Earley, and Paul
Jacko, Jr., as well as her grandmother, Venoris Dewberry and her
grandfather, George Johnson, and a host of aunts and uncles also
mourning her loss. Visitation (10a) and Funeral (11a) will be Thur, Oct 29, 2015 at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, Dayton, OH. Professional services entrusted to Young Lusain Funeral Home, formerly Bowman Funeral Chapel. |
