Anthony MORRIS Anthony Ernest Morris ("Tony") was born
on February 13, 1954 in Trinidad, West Indies, where he grew up
in Duncan Village. He graduated high school from Saint Paul E.C.
and attended Renown College where he specialized in Machinery and
Drafting. He also worked in the family jewelry business as a skilled
goldsmith. Tony pursued many occupations, including being a professional truck driver. Some would say he was a jack-of-all-trades. Tony ("Brother Anthony") accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior many years ago and loved to fellowship with other Christians. Brother Anthony was a faithful and devoted member of Lighthouse Community Church for many years. Brother Anthony served in many capacities including being a very passionate praise team member. He also served for several years on the church administrative board as co-chair of the property commission, which meant that he volunteered many hours at the church and even helped Pastor and ("Mother") Harvey at their home. Tony enjoyed listening to various types of music,
playing different instruments, and helping people, especially the
elderly and youth, and most of all Tony was a loving and devoted
father and husband. Visitation (11a) and Funeral (12p) - Friday, November 13, 2015 at Lighthouse Community Church, 4610 Prescott Ave, Dayton, OH Professional services entrusted to Young Lusain Funeral Home, formerly Bowman Funeral Chapel. |
