Barbara Morton Graham, known to some of her friends as BAT, was born on April 13, 1935 in Alliance, OH to George E. Morton and Ethel O. Derry George was a radar engineer with Ratheon. Ethel played saxophone, fronting for a band in the 1920's, then later worked for a printing company. Barbara was their only child. Barb left this earthly realm on Sunday, April 20, 2014.

She married James C. Graham on August 15,1954 in Cleveland, Ohio. They lived in Ohio, Azusa, CA, and San Anselmo CA; and had two sons: Anthony Crawford Graham and James Chase Graham.

The following is a note I wrote to Barbara Graham. She was called away before I got it mailed:

Dear Bat,

I just want you to know that I think about you every day and how much I treasure the time we have spent together - getting lost on the train in London, riding in a gondola in Las Vegas, nearly getting arrested in Marblehead, the boat tour in Chicago, the birds "bombing" your car in Branson, two visits to Noank and best of all; the wedding of you and Marcia in Toronto. I'm so glad that you were there for some of my best adventures.

Love, Andrea
(goodbye precious friend)

Marcia, wishing for you peace and comfort through this terrible time.

Barb, we are going to miss you. You were one tough cookie. The first time we ever met you, you came striding across the softball field in your shorts, knee socks and softball shoes; you had an infectious smile on your face like the whole world made you happy. There are many other things in your life that we remember but that picture, that confident woman, we will never forget.
Julie and Peggy
Marcia, Your caring made Bat's final days, and the transition to the other side, so full of your love that she left our world with a heart filled with peace and a smile. My wish for you is to wrap yourself in the memories of Bat as you remember her.

To Tony and James, Your mother was one of a kind and loved dearly by so many. You and your families are in my thoughts. I hope you can find comfort in these rough days.
