Bernard WHITE

Bernard Thomas White was born April 14, 1956 to the late Bernard and Ruby White in Whipple, West Virginia. Bernard was affectionately known to his family as "Butch". Butch departed this life on Thursday, November 20, 2014.

Butch graduated from Dayton Public Schools, Dunbar High School where he enjoyed playing in the high school band. Butch had a great love for horses and spent numerous hours and Danny's little farm attending the horses. His love for horses is what inspired his favorite saying, "This is not my first Rodeo". Butch would quote this when situations would occur. Butch was tough in spirit but gentle and kind at heart, he was friendly to all including strangers.

Butch loved his family very much, he was proud of his two sons and grandchildren. He loved the holidays and spending time with his siblings, nieces and nephews. Butch enjoyed travelling to Seattle and Phoenix to spend the holiday with his sister (Cake) and brother (Antone). Butch will be greatly missed by all of who loved him. Butch would often check in with his sisters to report whenever he would go to church and pray to God. Butch never lost his connection with the Lord; for it was confirmed by his testimony "I always say my prayers".

Bernard Thomas White is preceded in death by his parents, Bernard & Ruby White; and brothers Richard and Ricardo White.
