Beverly KIDD

Beverly Ann (Sanders), (Johnson), Kidd was born February 4, 1952 in Cincinnati, Ohio to parents Matthew and Martha Sanders. She departed on December 27, 2013 at Vitas Hospice Center. Beverly is now joined with her parents and two brothers Donald and Dwight Sanders.

Beverly was a very talented and loving woman who spoke her mind. She was loving but not always gentle. She had the discernment of how and when to give it to you Straight. Beverly was always interested in seeking the essence of God. When she discovered the picture of Jesus Christ (which hung on her parents wall) she asked, "Who is that?" And her pursuit for God never stopped, and now the Lord has taken her for Himself and her pursuit is no more. Let us rejoice!

Beverly enjoyed being with her family and friends. She enjoyed writing and publishing poems and songs. She is a member of the International Society of Poets. She has received numerous awards in leadership and education. She was a strong advocate of self-education and pursued institutional education were she received her Pharmacy Technician Certification.

Beverly's primary job was being a mother to her three children with her first Husband James Johnson. Her children are Douglas Johnson, Jamaica Johnson, and Lashonda Johnson. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother until the end. Beverly was very proud of her two granddaughters Jalissa Caine and Ammari Powers. She also leaves behind her brothers and sisters Greg Sanders, Sandra Sanders, Charles Sanders, and Diane Sanders and a host of Cousins, Nieces and Nephews, Great friends and Special Friends: Theophilus Barnes, Maxine Ingram and Equlliar McNeil to name a few. Everyone was near and dear to her.

Family and friends are invited to a Visitation (10a) and Funeral (11a) - Thursday, January 2, 2013 at Corinthian Baptist Church, 772 Whittier St., Cincinnati, OH 45229.
