Cyril and Marjorie Dean passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Cyril was born May 17, 1937 in St. Mary, Jamaica and Marjorie was born on October 9, 1945 in St. Mary, Jamaica. They were married for 49 years.

Cyril was a foreign sports car mechanic who owned his own business, Lee and Dean Garage in St. Mary, Jamaica. He worked for Armando’s Foreign Sports Car, Inc. in Youngstown, Ohio for over 30 years and continued to work independently until his death.

Marjorie received her degree in Business and worked as a secretary at Orange River, St. Mary, Jamaica. She was a Literature Evangelist in Allegheny West Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and retired after 24 years of service. Marjorie’s work in the ministry continued until her death.

Cyril and Marjorie Dean are survived by their three children Elethia Dean, Anthony (Molly) Dean, and Rosanna (Demond) Dean-Scott; four grandchildren Ishaan Dean, Joya Dean, Jared Scott, and Ana Scott.

Cyril is preceded in death by his parents Mary Daatadeen and Daatadeen and one brother Cecil Dean. He is survived by one brother, Isaac Daatadeen and three sisters, Catherine Coombs, Evelyn Scott and Enid (Anthony) Scott, as well as many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Marjorie is preceded in death by her father Lenox Wade. She is survived by her mother, Lucille Metansingh; two brothers, Lloyd (Madge) Metansingh and Trevor Metansingh; and five sisters Geraldine (Winston) Lawrence, Sadie Metansingh, Marcia Metansingh, Maxine Jones, and Marvia (Joe) Grant, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life service will be held at Temple Emmanuel Seventh-day Adventist Church 108 West Indianola, Youngstown, Ohio 44507 at 12:00 pm (noon) on Friday, August 21, 2015. The family will welcome friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Cyril and Marjorie Dean Evangelism Fund at Temple Emmanuel SDA Church website (http://www.tesdachurch.org/#!about3/cy2p).

The Visitation (11am) and Funeral (Noon) will be on Friday, August 21, 2015 at Temple Emmanuel SDA Church, 108 W Indianola Ave, Youngstown, OH 44507.
