Debrezion TEMNWO

Debrezion Mahansho Temnwo was born on March 12, 1953 in Zagher, Eritrea to Mahansho Temnwo and Reshan Awalom. Debrezion was the fifth child of eight brothers. He married Meaza Asgedom on January 16, 1976.

Debrezion, being a loving husband and father strived to find a better life for his family. Due to the ongoing war at that time in Eritrea, he immigrated to the United States with the help of his older brother Dr. Haile Mehansho and his sister in-law Azieb Mehreteab. He arrived in Cincinnati, OH in 1989 and his family joined him a year later. They have lived in Cincinnati ever since then.

Debrezion has always being very studious and eager to learn new things. He started elementary school in his birth place Zagher and continued his education in Asmara going as far as attending University of Asmara for 2 years. His love for education did not stop there. When he arrived in the United States, he attended Queen City Vocational School for one year and obtained a diploma as a machinist.

Debrezion has always been a hard working person. For the last 15 years, he worked at the Kroger Co. food manufacturing plant here in Cincinnati. He worked hard and made it a point to never be late or miss a day. While always being very busy with work, he always found time to keep in touch with family and friends who live near and far. Everyone who has known him always appreciated his kindness and calm nature.

Debrezion was an amazing provider and was always there for his family. He was a devoted husband, father, brother and friend to many. He raised his children with great love and commitment, pushing them to do their best and helping them to achieve their goals.

Just like any other day, Debrezion went to the place where he worked for the so many years thinking that he will be back to his family at the end of the day. Unfortunately, he left us without any warning on January 14, 2016. We are shocked and saddened by his untimely departure, but we all know that our lives are in God's hand.

Debrezion is survived by his wife of many years Maeza Asgedom; his children, Tesfagaber Debrezion, Berhane Debrezion, and Senait Debrezion; his grandchildren, Nyla and Makai Crowell; and his brothers, Dr. Haile Mehansho, Kiflay Mehansho and Teklay Mehansho.

May the Lord rest his soul and give peace, comfort and blessings to his family and friends in this period of sorrow.
