Freddie HUGEE, JR.

Freddie Hugee, Jr. departed this life on June 7, 2015 after a lengthy illness at the Oaks of West Kettering nursing facility. He was born on January 11, 1936 in Moncks Corner, SC to Cory Bennett and Regina Hugee.

He was preceded in death by his Grandparents; Promise and Mary Hugee, father; Cory Bennett, mother; Regina Hugee; brother; Robert Hugee, Ex wife; Bernice Hugee, Nephew; Danny Danley and grandson; Michael Anthony Hugee.

Freddie served in the U.S. Army for 4 yrs active duty as a paratrooper and sharp shooter and served 2 yrs reserve. He moved to Dayton, OH were he resided for 57 yrs, where he was employed by NCR and Channel 2 News, and retired from Delco Products in 1991.

Freddie enjoyed playing softball, bowling, playing cards and had a great love for cars and nice clothes.

He leaves to cherish his memory ex wife; Lois Hugee, brother; Leon Hugee, sons; Michael and Freddie Hugee III, daughters; Teresa (Andrew) Gentry, Tamika Lewis and Tammy Hugee. Grandchildren; Katamra Davis, Cory Pope, Jamar Dunson, Andrew Jarrod Gentry, Tiara L. Gentry, Hannah Jones, Maleek Hugee, Freddie J Hugee, Cameron Hugee, Tori Hugee, Jayden Hugee and Jamarion Hugee. Great-grandchildren; Davontae, Mikayla, Drew, Jalen and Ge'air; Special nephew; J. Marcus Culbreth, special cousins; Annie Mae Taste and Simon Lee. Special friend; Jim Williams.

Visitation (12p) and Funeral (1p) - Friday, June 12, 2015 at Bowman & Young Funeral Home 2060 Germantown St. Dayton. Rev. David Crutcher, Jr., officiating. Family will receive friends 12:00 noon until time of service. Interment Dayton National Cemetery.
