Hope BRIDGES

Hope L. Bridges, born to Delores Simon and the late John Bridges, August 31, 1966 in Dayton, Ohio. She attended Paul Laurence Dunbar High School where she was known for her extreme basketball skills. She became a mother, leader, advisor, friend, and established a cleaning service in 2001 "Splitz-n-Shine," and was a successful entrepreneur for many years.

She is survived by her mother Delores Simon, four daughters; Ambriee Carter, Amanda Bridges, Jamecce and Jameka Grayson; six grandchildren, Dwayne, Saniyah, Anthony, Dwaun, Devontae, Antwan, as well as her partner, Dwayne Sanders and four loving sisters, Caprice McKinney, Cheryl Shipp, Pamela Bridges, Betty Bridges and two caring brothers, Ronald Bridges and Rodney Bridges.

Hope enjoyed spending time with family, watching football (Green Bay Packers), playing cards, fishing, and cooking. Hope enjoyed the love and laughter with her family and friends. She was and always will be the life of the party and the Rock that keeps her family together. Mommy always stated,

"Love your sisters, y'all need to stick together, don't ever let anything come in between you all."

"A family that prays together stays together."

"We're all we got."

Family and friends are invited to a Visitation on Monday, June 15, 2015 from 12p-2p at Bowman and Young Funeral Home, 2060 Germantown St. and a graveside immediately following at West Memory Gardens.
