Jacqueline PRICE

Jacqueline Verrell Price was born to Charles W. Price and Mary J. Price on July 31, 1957 in Dayton, Ohio. Jacqueline departed this life on Friday, January 1, 2016.

Jacqueline was a graduate of Meadowdale High School and Carousel Beauty College in Dayton, Ohio. She had a stellar career as a beautician. Upon leaving Dayton, Ohio Jacqueline moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she worked for several years in television broadcasting for CNN before later becoming a television programmer for Alhurra News in Washington, DC. During her travels Jacqueline was afforded the opportunity to meet and interact with a diverse group of friends from all over the world, as far as Saudi Arabia and the Philippines, who became her extended family. Jacqueline was a supportive mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, auntie and friend. Her reach was wide and her loving arms, and encouraging words will forever be missed. Heaven has gained a spirited Angel and those of us left behind have gained a fierce protector with Jacqueline watching over us.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her beloved father Willie Hancock, aunt Alice Price and sister Lawanda Hancock.

She leaves to cherish her memory her three children Aungela Wood of Maryland, Kelvin Price of New York and Dorian Harris of Dayton; parents Charles W. Price of South Carolina and Mary J. Price of Dayton; sisters: Paulette Satterfield of Dayton, Stephanie Taylor (James) of Dayton, Vickie Harris (Bruce) of Oklahoma, Tara Price of Dayton, Traci Gray of Dayton, Robin Price-Hancock of Columbus; one brother, Terry Hancock of Dayton; four beloved grandsons, Jaire George, Charles Taste, Dorian Harris Jr., and Dorion Harris, special cousin Richard (Rick) Price and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host dear friends.
