Jeffery MINOR, JR.

Jeffery Edward Minor Jr. was born on August 13, 1992 in Dayton, Ohio to Kimberly Ann Hicks (Clyde) and Jeffery Edward Minor Sr.

Jeffery was a resident of Dayton, Ohio for all of his young life. He attended Dunbar High School where he established many lasting friendships. Jeffery was a member of Greater Damascus Baptist Church and loved and served the Lord. Jeffery was always found to be wearing either Ohio State Buckeye or UD Flyers colors and gear, and was an avid fan of both teams. Jeff was known to be extremely respectful to all of his elders and was always on the lookout for making life easier for them. Jeff was a committed employee of Frisch's Big Boy Restaurant and rarely missed a day, even reporting to work when ill. He genuinely enjoyed the simple times, making people laugh, grillin' anyone close enough to be grilled, playing cards and just hanging out with his family and friends. Jeffery played AAU basketball as a youth and would smile for days after making 3-pointers in his opponents face. He continued his love for the game playing pick-up games at Triangle View and watching LeBron James every chance he could. Jeffery was known in his close circle of friends as a prolific rapper - rapping whenever and wherever he could - even recording original songs with his cousins. Jeffery remained committed to his loving family and true friends, and was especially devoted to his niece Ja'Brea Wallace (his JJ). On the fateful night of August 24, 2015, mere days after celebrating his 23rd birthday, God called Jeff away from this earthly life.

Jeffery was preceded in death by his brother Jay Unique Minor; Grandmothers Barbara A. Bonds and Helen C. Harris; Great Grandparents Clyde and Melba Bonds; Great Grandmother Lessie F. Stokes; Uncles Jerry Bonds and Willie P. Jones and Auntie Bernita Mathis.

Jeffery Edward Minor Jr. leaves to cherish his memories, his loving and supportive Mother Kimberly Hicks (Clyde) and his Father Jeffery Minor Sr.; three loving sisters, Jazmon'et Minor of Dayton, OH, LaShala and Janayshia Minor of Knoxville TN; two brothers, Christopher McClure Hicks and Jamari Minor both of Dayton OH; Grandparents Idris Siddiqi of Indianapolis, IN, and Eugene (Evelyn) Minor of TN; Niece Ja'Brea Wallace; Fairy-Godmother LaMieka (Frank) Spencer, Godson (King) Zayden Blocker, Best Friends Ale'yah Bella, De'Angelo Bush (Dee) and William Hicks Jr. (Nunu), Da'Laquan Hicks (DayDay) and a host of loving and dedicated Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
