Kambon JACKSON

Kambon Robert Damani Jackson-Oglesby, age 39, went home to be with our Lord on Sunday, January 24, 2016. He was born on January 7, 1977 in Dayton, Ohio to Amon and Brenda Oglesby.

Kambon was a lifelong resident of Dayton, Ohio. He attended Colonel White High School and later received his diploma. Kambon was a loving and devoted father. He enjoyed creating memories with with his children and loved watching them grow over the years. Kambon was a fashionable trend setter and loved making a memorable entrance into a room. He loved spending time with his family and close friends. They depended on him to bring a sense of humor to the family and provide emotional support during difficult times.

Kambon was preceded in death by his father, Amon Oglesby Jr., grandparents, Amon and Priscilla Oglesby Sr., and grandparents Elder and Ruth Jackson. He leaves to cherish his memories his loving mother, Brenda Oglesby, siblings, Kesha Jackson, Kania Jackson, Jason Hargrove, and Amon Oglesby III, children, Melnee Reid, Kambon Thurman-Jackson, Cache Gardner, Kameron Jackson, Kambon Jackson Jr., Kamon Jackson, and grandson Darnell Collier, special niece Tiesha Jackson, and a host of other well loved nieces and nephews, many dear aunts and uncles and cousins, special love Erica Tolliver, and lifelong friends Terry (Bart) Blythe, Zachary (Apples) James, Keith North, Kevin Newberry, Levar Williams, and Shawn McGraw.

Kambon will be sorely missed by all his family and friends, but we will remember the way he stood as a strong backbone to our family. Our love for Kambon will endure forever and we will take comfort in knowing that he has been received into the mighty arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
