Larry JOHNSON

Larry Earl Johnson was the third child born to the union of the late Della and Major Johnson on June 18, 1945.

Known to many family and friends as "Lump", Larry attended Cincinnati Public Schools and later went on to earn his certification as a Licensed Carpenter. Larry enjoyed singing and dancing, often considering himself an honorary member of The Temptations. Larry enjoyed the finer things in life, always well-dressed and wearing his gold jewelry. Larry was the true definition of a "big brother" and took pride in being the protector of his family.

Larry was called home on Wednesday, April 13, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents Della and Major Johnson, his daughter Tyanna Price, brothers Daniel "Sonny Boy" Laborn and Ronald "Boo Boo" Johnson, sister Vivian "Joyce" Williams and great-nephew Christopher "Tye-Tye" Terrell.

Larry leaves to cherish his memory, his longtime spouse Sherren Brown, sons Larry "Lil Larry" Barham and Saudi Brown, brother Jerry Wheeler-Johnson, sisters Barbara Johnson-Terrell and Sandra Gill (Don L.), ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
