She made Zion Temple First Pentecostal Church her home she was baptized and filled with the precious Holy Ghost.

Sister Barber was a faithful member. She would come to service on Sunday's and enjoy the Lord's word until last year when her health started to fail... But that didn't stop her. Sister Barber requested a bulletin every Sunday from her special niece Alice Netter. Sister Alice Netter was her go to person for all her personal needs and care. Sister Lorena always spoke highly of her favorite niece Kathleen Clark and nephews Larry and Ronnie Todd. They never missed her birthday nor Christmas spending time with her and baring gifts, Sister Barber loved them so. She appreciated their acts of kindness and love. Sister Lorena loved family and enjoyed being around them.

Sister Lorena had a strong will and mind, she would speak whatever was on her mind. At the age of 95 she still knew her family and could remember things from yester years and yesterday. She leaves to cherish grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends...
