Margaret DEERING Margaret D. Deering was born January 12, 1931 In Dayton, Ohio, where she had been a resident for over sixty years. She was a graduate of Dunbar High School. She was employed for 10 years at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. She retired after working 25 years at the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services in Dayton, Ohio. Margaret was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She was also a faithful and devoted member of Zion Hill Baptist until her death on September 24, 2015. She was proceeded in death by her parents Bert Holcomb and Mary Louise Smith Holcomb, her great grandmother Ellen Benton Collins, grandmother Minnie Collins Smith, Nannie Flora Collins (who raised her) and her sister Minnie Holcomb Tucker. She leaves to cherish her memory two children: son
Ronnie (Rosalie) Releford (Urbana, Ohio), and daughter Vicki Releford
(Dayton, Ohio). Four grandchildren: Deondray Releford( Dayton, Ohio),
Africa Releford (Las Vegas, Nevada), Casey Releford (Dayton, Ohio)
and Ralph Mason (Atlanta, Georgia). Twelve great grandchildren,
Cameron, Caylyn, Caleb, Dawntavia, Kalup, and D-Alize', Kalegh,
Dazzmine, Aysia, Erin, Kira, and Ian and six great great grandchildren.
She also leaves a devoted first cousin James D (Mary) Green and
a host of other loving dedicated cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews
and friends. Visitation (10a) and Funeral (11a) - Friday, October
2, 2015 at Zion Hill Baptist Church
