Ollie Watkins

Ollie Mae Watkins was born on April 6, 1917 in Barnesville, Georgia to Mary and Claude F. Watkins, Sr.

Ollie worked for many years as a cook and seamstress at McCalls Department Store. She was a master gardener and savvy business woman known for her take charge attitude.

She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, daughter Barbara J. Hurt, and granddaughter Sementhia Lynn Graham.

She leaves behind her nieces: Betty Smith, Annette McClemore, Judy, Jamie, and Yolanda Evans; nephew Vance SMith; grandchildren: Kevin (Desire) Hurt, Kimberlyn (Julius) Fadore, Tamara Hurt, and Tonya Hurt; great-grandchildren: Shrone, Wayman, Knisha, Gregory, Jaunida, Joanece (Michael), Natasha, Chris, Domonic, David, Julianna, James Dejon, and Joshua; and a host of great-great-grandchildren, cousins, and friends.
