Ruth MIDDLETON

Ruth Christine Middleton was born on January 8, 1933, in Modoc, South Carolina to the proud parents of Rev Clarence and Lillie Mae (Robertson) Middleton. Ruth Christine left her earthly tent to be with the Lord on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2015.

Ruth was nurtured and grew up in Modoc, South Carolina, in a blessed Baptist church environment. She attended Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church in South Carolina where she enjoyed singing in the church choir with her sisters and brothers before moving to Cincinnati, Ohio.

Ruth's (aka Big Mama) legacy was her divine generosity and hospitality, which she openly displayed to family and friends. Ruth was a member of Northside United Methodist Church. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was adored and loved by everyone she met. Ruth worked at Frisch's Mainliner as a cook for 40 years. She loved to cook and bake. She was mostly famous for her lemon pies and pineapples and coconut cakes. She also loved baseball- especially the Cincinnati Red Legs, and her favorite basketball player was Kobe Bryant.
