Tyrone PATTERSON

Tyrone Columbus Eugene Patterson Sr. came into this world a fighter on August 19, 1972. He was born to Robert Ward and Jeannie Patterson. He was called home to the Lord far too soon on the morning of May 8,2016 at the young age of 43. I said Tyrone was a fighter because he was. Throughout his life what he was fighting for changed a lot but there was one thing he always fought for right until his passing....family.

Tyrone is a lot of things to so many people. Everywhere he went he knew someone or made a friend, our girls always found that so funny. To most people who know him he is someone they can count on to fix just about anything that may need fixing. To others he's someone to ride bikes with, go spend a lazy Saturday afternoon fishing with or someone they can talk to when they need advice. He is strong, determined, loving, brave and of course as we all know, the pit MASTER! I could go on and on about who he is. To his closest friends and family that's exactly what he is...a true friend. To our children he is a teacher, protector, caregiver, leader and the Best Dad In the World! To me he is everything. My King, my life, my friend, my Husband, my love.

Though his body is gone from us his spirit is not. I've lived for him for nearly 14 years, and I will continue to live for him now until the day I'm called home to him. Until that time his memory will live on through his loved ones. He will never be gone. Though this hurts more than anything so many have ever known, more than anything I have ever known, I do find some comfort from the final words he spoke to me and I hope so many of you can too. Those words were, "I'm at peace, I love you." Tyrone is survived by his eternal wife, Autumn Patterson, children, Tyra; Unique; Jade; Isabella; Brooklyn; Tyrone Jr.; Robert; and Tyree Patterson. Brothers, Antuane and Robert Patterson. Friend by blood but brother for life, Paul Lynch. Sister, Tyra Patterson and Mother, Jeannie Patterson.
